Glazed terracotta tiles are made from natural clay that is shaped, dried, fired, and then coated with a glaze before being fired again. The glaze gives the tiles a shiny, waterproof surface and can come in a variety of colors and finishes, enhancing the natural beauty of the terracotta.

How It Is Made

Clay is prepaid, shaped and dried under normal conditions. It is then fired as a bisque. The next step is to glaze it and fired it again.
